In anticipation of our Italy trip this May we have started to work on Spencer's family history. Spencer's mom has a good collection of hand written info, pictures, obituaries and funeral information. This has been fantastico! Because of the collection she has, we have 5 generations of information. She even has the birth certificate of Spencer's Great Grandmother from 1910. It is amazing to see something that is almost 100 years old and it came all the way from Italy. We have all decided that from the nose down Spencer looks like his Great Grandfather Giuseppe Chiodo. So he does after all look Italian and not all Daines. We have been looking online today and the Family History Library has the civil records for both of the cities that our ancestors are from. This is amazing since they are from very small towns! We will keep you up to date on our finding.

Nice work entering the blog world. You just earned yourself a link on ours. I'm excited for you to go to Italia, you better post pics for us to all be jealous of. By the way, ever since elementary days I've kept wanting to call Spencer Guiseppe instead, now I finally know I wasn't crazy!
